Sofia Crypto Meetup #31 – Intro to Hedera Hashgraph
We think we had enough of ICOs for one summer season, so it is perhaps time to move from blockchain startup pitches, regulation and enterprise into technology (Sofia Crypto Meetup). Technology is at the very center of the blockchain sphere and we should focus on it more in the future. Actually, it was how these meetups started – with enthusiast presentations on various blockchain-related topics.
Going back to the SCM roots, this meetup will be dedicated to a specific project – Hedera Hashgraph. The technology behind this new type of distributed ledger is considered “less technically constrained than blockchains” by its founder Leemon Baird. No bundling of transactions, no miners, no blocks. Sounds a bit too good to be true, doesn’t it?
