The exhibition “Bulgarians in Romania. Cultural heritage from the fund of the National Ethnographic Museum” strives to develop new knowledge on such fundamental topics as “museum and community”, “cultural-historical heritage of the Bulgarian diaspora in Romania”, “history and memory in the museum”, etc. The main thematic direction around which the storyline of the exhibition develops are:

  1. Collecting: stages, situations, collectors.
  2. Object world: informativeness, expressiveness, attractiveness.
  3. Museum and community: vectors of communication and representation.
