The Earth Hour
Why is all this happening together, the same day, same place?
What is the connection between young people and caring for the environment?
This year we again mark and join one of the most important international initiatives – raising awareness about environmental problems, energy wasting, air pollution, the global warming’s progression and the effects all these issues have on us as a society.
(The 2017 event here)
March 24th . The place is club”Mixtape 5″, A-side.
Exactly at 20.30h we power down! / shut the lights
This event is the largest on it’s scale worldwide – millions of people turn their house lights off for an hour, landmark buildings dim down in symbol of understanding and involvement in climate change.
An opportunity for everyone to consider the impact of small deeds on the planet’s future.
How can we use our strengths as a society to fight climate change together?
Our event will be in two parts and in the first we welcome all people under 18 years for free. For all over 18 years the entrance will be 10lv.
Underage (under 18years) – FREE ENTRY
Everyone else – 10lv
**Policy for underage admittance after 22:30
Let 2018 be artistic and full of inspiration!
All events organized by Trotoara Foundation are supporting T.R.A.P. and are related to art, ecology, dance and music, photography, bicycling and promoting active lifestyle.
Again we will work with hundreds of young people from different social background – different schools, different homes. Through their personal engagement, while organizing and arranging events, they’ll have the opportunity to meet new mentors, new friends, work with volunteers. We want to give them the stage while they form and explore new interests and relations, we want to provoke and inspire them to keep up after us
