Coding Girls Sofia & Centroida: Empowering Girls in AI & Blockchain
Empowering Girls in The Blockchain technology and AI are reshaping all spheres of our lives to the extent that their disruptive power is compared to that of the Internet in its their early days. We firmly believe that having girls as part of this transformation is nothing but crucial.
Such emerging technologies cannot reach their full potential unless both women and men fully contribute to their mass adoption across industries. Girls in the global tech industry are highly underrepresented, but the situation is shockingly worse when it comes to cutting edge applications of AI and Blockchain. This is why we aim to support and encourage girls to immerse themselves in those areas which carry so much potential.
At Coding Girls, we believe that one of the best ways to increase the number of girls in technology, whether AI or Blockchain, is by celebrating female role models and establishing mentorship opportunities. According to Eurostat, Bulgaria has the highest percentage of women in ICT across the EU (31%).
We are truly proud of this and continue to work hard to fuel those numbers, given the sheer numbers of successful female role models all around us. Our mission is to present Bulgaria as an example that can inspire girls worldwide when it comes to choosing a career in technology.
Centroida is participating in this global tech paradigm shift by unlocking state-of-the-art technology for enterprises looking to achieve their maximum potential by leveraging AI and Blockchain in their businesses. Girls in our team are responsible for some of our most important projects and we want to highlight and share some of their experience with others.
Join us and spend an evening of inspiring talks and a Q&A session, followed by snacks, drinks and a delightful company! Boys are welcome to join the event as well as we believe they can learn just as much.
